Canon MP250 negative scanning?

Question

I'm trying to scan some colour negatives using my Canon MP250. In Canon's own scanning software, there is no option for negative scanning and when using third party software (Vuescan), it too won't give me the option to scan colour negatives.

Is the scanner just incapable of scanning negatives, or is there a workaround?

Really annoying because I only need it for another month before I replace it with a proper negative scanner.

Unfortunately, my friend, your Canon PIXMA MP250 does NOT have the capabilities of scanning negatives.



When scanning negatives or slides you need the light to be shining through the negative in order for the scanning mechanism to be able to 'pick up' the image.

hi. i attempted importing scanner and all went nicely. I clicked preview and then test once I made my determination yet then a message popped up and mentioned "get right of entry to Denied" :( does all people comprehend the thank you to repair this?
