My pc's are networked...just wondered if I can share a scanner?

I'm not sure if you can. But even if you can, it wouldn't make sense for you to do that because you still need to physically go to the scanner to put whatever you want to scan in it. It makes no sense for you to have the scanner on one computer and try to operate it remotely via the network on another computer. What if you have more than 1 thing to scan? Go back and forth?
The thing to do is to create a shared folder on the PC to which the scanner is attached. Scan your images there and save them in the shared folder. You can then access the scanned images from anywhere on your network.

Not sure but why would you? Would it not be easier to set the scanner up to save the files into a folder, then share that folder accress the network. It might be worth while mapping a drive to the snared folder.

ofcourse.jst connect ur scanner to the computer n a bubble will appear tht'll help u share a scanner over a network in XP pro

yes you can. select the scanner in the Printers and Scanners folder and select the sharing options.
