Scanner images won't open on photoshop?

Question

i can't open my scanner images on photoshop
it said that it is not the right kind of document
i used mustek bearpaw 1200 and i scan it with ms office document scanning, it can only save files in .tiff and microsoft office document imaging
and this problem only occur on the color option, the bw and grayscale is still working
HELP? MAYBE A DIFFERENT PROGRAM TO SCAN (that's free) OR AN ERROR TO BE FIXED JUST PLEASE HELP!

try reinstalling photoshop. i had the same error in my pc

Do you have any theory how previous the technologies is which you're handling? Strongly recommend you spend the $sixty 5 or so for you to get a in demand USB device which would be detected immediately and supply you greater appropriate selection and greater controls.

You should be able to run your scanner directly from inside Photoshop.

Go to File, Import and there should be a Twain scanner option.
