I have Brother printer/scanner MFC 8440. How to scan few pages as whole document?

I try to scan 8 pages to my pc as whole document, but for some reason all pages scan separately. What do I do in settings to change that? I managed to scan as whole document but TIFF!! which takes a lot fo space. For some reason it cant be done JPEG. help

Craete the documents as TIFF. Open GIMP or Adobe and re-save in jpeg format. That will decrease the size considerable and still retain the TIFF format.

You can type an entire chapter at once and Word will format the pages with the right number of lines, etc. When you want to start a new Chapter, use a Page Break. This will begin the next line on a new page. I wrote my book in one document using Page Breaks for chapters. ~

I strongly believe GIMP is the best free tool for photo editing available online nowadays. It's as good and as powerful as photoshop but GIMP can be use also used by a lot of professionals.
