scan the photo and save as jpeg format.

if u r scanning through any 'image editing'software like photoshop, then it will be easy for u to give the format name.

this is the path if it is photoshop (File - Import and select ur scanner name).

or scan the image with what ever u have and change the format throgh any image editing softwares or anyother graphic softwares.(photoshop, gimp, paintshop pro, corelreaw, illustrator, free hand, flash, fireworks and etc)

hope this will help u

Nowaday, most scanner can save as jpeg/jpg format. If your scanner don't have this. Then you can save as tiff and use other software to convert it to jpg(such as paintshop/photoshop)

You need a scanner. Many multi-function printers have a scanner built-in.
