Get a scanner, scan the picture, and save it somewhere. Open Internet Explorer, go to File -> Open, and open the file you saved. Then right click on the picture and click on Set as Desktop Background.

You can use the software provided alongwith your Scanner. Load the software properly and start scanning the required picture. Use "Save As" option to save the picture in a location on your computer. Go to properties on desktop by right clicking anywhere on desktop. Choose Desktop >> Background>> Browse and select the name of the scanned picture. Press OK and the picture will be your desktop background.

You will be needing a scanner which would scan pictures for you on the computer...
Once a picture is scanned & saved.. you can right click on it and select, Set As Desktop Background

Scan the picture, go to the control panel click on Display. click on Desktop,click on browse, button. you can choose the photo you want to use. There is also software that you can use that will put it on your desktop for you.

well...scan the picture in then save it...go to 'my computer' /'appearance and themes'/'desktop picture'(something like that ) and then 'change desktop' or 'select' and then 'browse' for your saved pic and set it as desktop ...hope this works!

there are two ways
1
save the picture somewhere that you can remember, with a name that you can remember, then go into settings, then go into display, choose desktop, you then shoup be able to brose for that image
2
scan in the picture
print it out
nail it to your monitor

If you don't have a scanner, but you have a digital camera that does "Macro" mode, you can take a digital photo of your prints and then transfer the photos to your computer (using a camera-to-computer cable or by using a photo card reader).
