That is absolutely NOT an email from Adobe. First of all, the current products are Adobe Acrobat X and Adobe Reader X. The name "Acrobat Reader" was dropped several years ago, it is just "Adobe Reader" now. Second, the free Adobe Reader doesn't have any PDF editing or creation features.
