Hi there Ashish,

First of all, I would like to make clear that a scanner is used to 'scan' whatever we put on that 'glass screen'. However, in Windown XP, you have a scanner wizard which provides you with options like 'grayscale' or 'color'. I think that will be the maximum we can modify the image 'while' scanning. However, after we scan the image, we can edit the color or other things by softwares like Photoshop or Nero Photosnap. There are various softwares available on net for this purpose. The 'Paint Dot Net' released by microsoft is also quite user-friendly.

So remember, a scanner is a device that is used to transfer external images to our pc. Any changes we make to the image before or after scanning won't be considered as the changes made by the 'scanner'. We change the settings via our PC.

Hope this answered your query. If not, pleae let me know, and I'll be glad to be of further assistance. Bye!!

I don't know what kind of scanner you have but I don't think they have that as an option. If you have photo editing software you may be able to open your document on that software and colorize your document and then print it.
