Try turning off the scanner and turning it back on. You may have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers or any other software that came with your scanner. You should be able to download this software from the website of the manufacturer.

Stopped working or the bulb blew? Some scanners won't work if the bulb is blown.

first check the wires from ur scanner to ur computer.. and the wires from ur electric to ur scnner.. and check ur driver.. ^^
